If you love animals and really want to make a difference in the life of a special animal this is the program for you! This is a great way to have a pet, care for it and learn responsibilities. With every adoption you receive a ‘Adoption Information Folder’ with the picture, name, age, special needs & story of your new furry friend. It will also include the responsibilties of their care. Feeding, grooming,etc. You can come to the farm for visits twice a month to bond and have hands on care of your pet. You will also be able to blog with us and others about your pets. We will answer questions about your pet when you cant be here. We will have fun blogging back and forth. Most of the animals at 2-Jo’s Farm are rescued or retired and have special stories. They all need love and care from special people. Along with your care, love and adoption fee these animals will have something they never had. Love, proper health care and balanced diet tailord just for their needs.
2-Jo’s farm has no funding or donations for the animals it takes or services they provide. Your adoption fee will go dirsctly for those needs!
We have lots of animals to chose from. Alpaca, Llama,Horses, Ponies, Potbelly Pigs, Geese,Ducks, and more.You pick the animal that fits best for you! We even have a few horses and ponies that need riding!
You must have your parents permission if you are under 18 years of age. There will be 2 dates every month on Saturdays & Sundays that you can come to 2-Jo’s farm and spend time caring for your pet. There will be a membership fee to join the adopt a furry friend program that makes you a member for a whole year! Then a small monthly fee only for the months you wish to come. Blogging is free! The membership fee is $25.00 for the year. The monthly fees for the animals are as follows. All birds $5.00 month, Llamas & alpaca $10.00 month, Potbelly pigs $10.00 month, other small animals $10.00 month, non riding horses & ponies $20.00 month, Riding horses & ponies $ 50.00 month.
